How much does the attorney charge?

It depends. The attorney and the client will discuss the legal issues and the amount of work involved during your initial consultation. Legal fees will be discussed during the consultation, and generally depending on the amount of work the attorney may quote a flat fee or an hourly fee.

Does Burguan Law accept payment plans?

Generally no. However, there are certain occasions that payment plans are appropriate.

Does the firm accept contingency cases?

No. Burguan Law does not take any legal cases on a contingency basis. Contingency cases are generally personal injury cases, and Burguan Law does not practice in the area of personal injury.

What is the consultation fee?

There is a $25 non-refundable deposit in order to reserve a specific time for your appointment, and an additional $125 fee at the time of the appointment.

Do you handle adoption cases?

Yes. This is the one area of law that there is no consultation fee. If the adoption commenced out of a Department of Child Safety case, there is no out of pocket costs to the client.
